56-y-o shot dead at cock fight in Old Harbour

Fifty-six-year-old Devon Gallimore, a resident of Davis District in Old Harbour, St Catherine, was shot and killed while at a cock fight in the bushes of the area on Sunday.

According to the police, Davis received a phone call while at the game in the bushes and moved away from the crowd.

Explosions were heard shortly after, and after further checks, Davis was found lying on the ground lying on his back. The police further report that a gunshot wound was found to the head. 

The deceased is said to be the holder of a licensed firearm, which was not located by the police.
