18-y-o held with illegal gun in St James

The police in St James have arrested an 18-year-old teen after he was held with an illegal firearm at his home in Flankers in the parish on Tuesday. 

According to the Montego Bay Police, a lawmen along with members of the military conducted a joint operation in Sea View Heights in Flankers, where several premises were searched.

During the operation, the suspect was accosted and one Browning nine milli-metre pistol with two rounds of ammunition was found in his bedroom.

He was taken into custody; however, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
