St Elizabeth farmer slapped with scamming charges

Tyrique Hutchinson, an 18-year-old farmer from Junction in St Elizabeth, was arrested and charged after he was found in possession of identity information earlier this month.

It is reported that lawmen, acting on information, conducted a raid at an address in the community. A search of the premises was conducted and two cell phones were found. The cellphones were searched in his presence and overseas numbers that he could not account for were found.

The accused was arrested and subsequently charged with knowingly possessing identity information following a question and answer session with detectives.
