'Candy Wow' blushed profusely, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she rushed to embrace her fiance, Randy 'Road Code' Coombs, in a section of Jones Town, St Andrew, yesterday.

Flashing a shiny ring with a huge stone at the news team, the entertainer declared that she has finally found love after a few failed relationships.

"I have found love because with Randy, there is no war or problem, it is just love and peace. Him nah lick or hurt mi. Lot of girls run and come, but mi just stand in mi saddle and get the ring. Mi a encourage every other females to find themselves with a ring," Candy said.

Coombs, 24, an up-and-coming recording artiste, said that Candy, 33, possesses qualities beyond what is portrayed on social media. Describing her as his 'real bad bro,' he explained that their friendship, spanning several years, evolved into something more due to her captivating personality, ultimately leading him to put a ring on her finger.

"Off camera, she is alright, man. People just see her on camera and work with the part that they see, but off the air she is a totally different person. She is nice and kind. Mi and her deh up a mi house pon [Instagram] Live and mi a tell her say, 'Candy and Randy just rhyme', suh mi just put the ring on her finger," he said.

Candy, whose given name is Kerisha Brandon, is known for her unfiltered personality and her famous catchphrase 'Can I get a wow?' She relishes the idea of making Randy her Mr Wow.

"I love him and although we live a little block away from each other, we see each other often. Randy, mi hope you take mi serious, because I take you serious. This is sent from God; so don't play with God, Randy, because the powers work," Candy said.

Yesterday, as Coombs spoke about the qualities he admired in her, Candy looked on lovingly and was eager to display her affection. She flung one of her legs across his lap, took a puff from her ganja spliff, then extend her left hand to show off her ring once more.

"Him just lock the ring on mi finger, people. Mi sleep, eat and bathe with it. Is one hussy, and is Mr Wow. Mi like everything about Randy. Him nice and handsome and him background clean. Him have dimples, suh unno don't take my husband for a poppy show. Mi love him," she said.

Candy, who is the talkative of the couple, said she has known Randy for years. On February 1, she said he invited her to his house and told her that he had something to show her. She said she had no idea what he had in store.

"Mi get a whole heap a hurt, suh mi did sceptical, but mi realise seh mi see a little box with a heart ting. Mi still never a realise what a gwan until him say, 'Candy, mi a guh marry yuh,' and mi say seriously. Mi never cry, enuh, when him propose to mi, but mi did happy. Mi never expect this ring, suh people, do dis and beat Candy," she related.

The social media personality then sang out the lyrics to Kelly Price's He Proposed. Released in 2003, the song captures the emotions of a surprise marriage proposal that took place on Valentine's Day.

Meanwhile, when asked about their wedding date, Candy instantly said they will exchange vows on March 23. Randy appeared taken back by the nearness of the date and enquired about the rush. However, for Candy the date is special, its his mother's birthday.

"Same way yuh have Nelly and Kelly, a suh we a guh have Randy and Candy. Mi want a nice little dress and mi don't want a big wedding, just family members and the news people dem. Mi want to get married at a hotel, and then finish on the beach," she said.
