31 cops who have passed away honoured by police federation
Some 31 cops who died between May 2023 and this year were today honoured by the Jamaica Police Federation.
It was noted that four of them died while in the line of duty including Constable Ricardo Fairclough who was fatally shot in St Ann on April 15 when he intervened in a robbery.
The moment was highlighted at the 81st annual joint central conference of the Jamaica Police Federation, which is now under way in St James
Head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force Chaplaincy Unit Dr Gary Buddoo said
the men and women who passed have paid the ultimate price for their country.
Buddoo said their inspiring stories of selfless acts of kindness and bravery should be celebrated.
