Police probing suspected drowning of Canadian child at RIU Hotel
An investigation has been launched by the police into the suspected drowning of a Canadian child whose body was discovered at the Riu Palace Aquarelle in Falmouth, Trelawny on Monday.
Dead is three-year-old Shea Anderson of Pinder Crescent, Oshawa in Toronto, Canada.
Reports are that about 1:45 p.m., the child was with her mother when the incident occurred.
She was subsequently pronounced dead at the Falmouth Hospital.
The hotel's management has since released a statement expressing condolences and offer support to the family of the deceased.
They are also working closely with authorities in the investigation.
