Men flee police, leaving behind loaded shotgun in Frazer's Content

The Spanish Town police are searching for a group of men they say fled an area of Frazer's Content, St Catherine, on Monday, leaving behind a loaded shotgun.

Reports are that about 5 p.m. the police conducted an intelligence-driven operation in the community.

During the operation, a group of men was spotted on a dirt track, in the vicinity of Meadowrest Memorial Gardens.

The men fled, but reportedly dropped a white knitted bag, which was retrieved by the police.

The police say a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with three cartridges was discovered inside the bag.
