Case of missing dancehall entertainer Medikk upgraded to murder

The body of dancehall entertainer 'Medikk', whose given name is Stephanie Williams, who went missing, had gunshot wounds.

This was revealed by a post-mortem.

As a result, the case has been upgraded by the police from missing person to murder.

It was also revealed that DNA analysis on skeletal remains of a body found in a cane field in February showed that the remains belong to Williams.

Williams went missing on or about Thursday, August 24, 2023.

A missing person report was made to the Constant Spring police by her mother.

As a result of the report, the police commenced a missing person and possible murder investigation.
