Update | St Elizabeth roadblocks cleared

The St Elizabeth police are reporting that the Fullerswood main road is now cleared. 

According to Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St Elizabeth Police Division, the roadway was cleared with the assistance of the fire brigade. 

He said the police are maintaining a presence in the area to prevent frustrated residents from remounting the roadblocks as they vent their frustration in the month-long delay by Jamaica Public Service Company to restore electricity to their homes following the passage of Hurricane Beryl on July 3.
