Old Harbour Road crash leaves two men dead

Two men lost their lives in a tragic two-vehicle collision along Old Harbour Road in St Catherine last night.

The crash, which happened about 9:20 p.m., involved a grey Toyota Land Cruiser and a blue Nissan Sunny.

According to reports, both vehicles were near the McCooks Pen main road when a white Honda motor car travelling ahead of the Land Cruiser suddenly swerved to the right.

This reportedly forced the Nissan Sunny driver to swerve, colliding head-on with the Land Cruiser. The Land Cruiser then spun and crashed into the left embankment of the road.

Both drivers were transported to Spanish Town Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The authorities are continuing investigations into the incident.
