Home invasion leaves man dead and his brother hospitalised

The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is probing a home invasion that left a man dead and his brother hospitalised on Sunday.

The deceased is Martin Lloyd Hudson, 42, otherwise called 'Phang', of Fairfield Road, St Catherine.

Reports are that while the two men were at their home about 7:30 p.m. gunmen entered through a rear door and opened fire.

The 42-year-old was hit repeatedly while his brother was hit once.

They were taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where Hudson was pronounced dead and his bother admitted for his injuries.

No motive has been established for the shooting.
