Man fatally shot while riding bicycle in Spanish Town

The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the fatal shooting of a man while riding his bicycle this morning.

Reports are that around 8 o' clock explosions were heard in the vicinity of Pea Lane in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

The police were called and upon arrival the man's bloodied body was found with gunshot wounds still clutching his bicycle.

The man's identity has yet to be ascertained.
