5 men nabbed over gun seizure in St Andrew raid

The St Andrew Central police have arrested five men in connection with the seizure of a pistol during a snap raid in Cross Roads yesterday.

The men were taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition.

The raid took place about 1:30 p.m.

A Taurus PT24-7 pistol affixed with a magazine containing 14 rounds of nine millimetre cartridges was seized.
