Man shot dead at St Elizabeth shop

A 26-year-old man was shot to death at a shop in Balaclava, St Elizabeth on Monday. 

He has been identified as 26-year-old Kenroy Facey, otherwise known as 'Bandulu,' from the parish. 

Reports are that at about 8:25 a.m., Facey was at a shop in the community of George's Valley, when he was attacked by unknown assailants. 

He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

No motive has been established for the incident.

The Black River Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
