Man killed in Shelter Rock, St Catherine

The Spanish Town police are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old man in Shelter Rock in St Catherine last night.

The deceased has been identified as George Williams from the community.

About 8:30 p.m. explosions were reportedly heard in the area and the police were called.

On their arrival, Williams was found lying face down with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the upper body.

He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has been established in Williams' death.
