Man charged with fatally stabbing 53-y-o father

A man has been charged after attacking his 53-year-old father which ended in his stabbing death on Saturday.

Twenty-year-old Jerry-Neol Dixon, otherwise called 'Ojay,' is charged with murder.

Killed is Sean Dixon, a labourer of Price Lane in Kingston.

Reports from the Kingston Central police are that about 12:25 p.m., Jerry-Neol, who was armed with a knife, pounced upon his father while he was lying in his motor car at his home.

According to the police, he then used the knife to inflict several wounds to his upper body before escaping the area on foot.

The father was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Jerry-Neol later turned himself in to the police.

He was later charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.

A court date for him is being arranged.
