‘Mi couldn’t believe mi eyes’ - Woman catches husband in bed with her daughter

A mother says her world has been turned upside down by a shocking revelation, one that has left her questioning not only her marriage, but the paternity of her five-year-old grandson.

Initially, the woman thought she had found the man of her dreams when she married her Joe*. However, she began having second thoughts shortly after opening her doors to her 16-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. The child was living with her father before she reportedly ran away and sought refuge at her mother's house.

Marcia*, Joe's wife, said he initially objected to his stepdaughter, Dolly*, coming to stay with them.

"Him neva give mi no reason. Him just used to seh him nuh want har yah, an' seh she need fi leave, but mi neva did just a guh put out mi daughter like dat," Marcia told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Months passed and her husband's behaviour shifted. He went from not wanting Dolly in the house to suddenly being overly concerned with his wife's movements and whereabouts.

"Mi nuh work far from home, so every single evening him used to call mi and ask wah time mi a leave work, or when mi a come home," Marcia said.

She became suspicious of her husband's behaviour and headed home from work early one day. What she discovered shocked her to the core. Marcia said she saw Joe in bed with her 16-year-old daughter.

"When mi see dem mi did shock. Mi couldn't believe mi eyes. Even to this day, mi caah believe what happened," the woman admitted, adding that rather than calling the police, she questioned her daughter, who said she had consented to the act.

"Before mi ketch dem, mi used to always ask har if him a touch har, and every time mi ask, she woulda tell mi no," Marcia said.

Hurt and betrayed, Marcia ended her relationship with Joe. She also sent her daughter back to her father. However, about a month later, she learnt that her daughter was pregnant.

Despite everything, Marcia decided to give her husband a second chance and actively tried to rebuild their marriage. But as her daughter's pregnancy progressed, tensions with Dolly and her father resurfaced, and she eventually moved back into her mother's home--with her stepfather still living there.

"A mi daughter, suh mi neva did a guh mek she sleep pon di street. But mi mek di two a dem know seh if mi ever ketch dem a do nothing again, mi a guh kill dem," Marcia declared.

It has been five years since Marcia caught her husband in bed with her teen daughter. She can't help but notice the striking resemblance between her grandson and her husband.

"Every day it deh pon mi mind. Mi can barely sleep a night. Even when wi a have sex, it nuh feel di same, cause a dat alone mi a think bout," Marcia admitted.

Joe, meanwhile, has insisted that although he had sexual intercourse with his stepdaughter on two occasions, he did not father her child. He said that he is willing to do a DNA test to determine the child's paternity and put his wife's mind at ease.

"Mi know seh mi wrong, enuh, but a she force up harself pon mi. Dat a why mi did tell mi wife mi nuh want har inna di house," Joe said.

However, in order for DNA Detective to proceed with a paternity test, all relevant parties involved must agree. Multiple attempts to contact Dolly have proved futile thus far.
