Detectives in St Ann have charged a woman with wounding with intent following an incident in the parish on March 15.
Charged is 43-year-old Shelly Ann Francis, a sanitation worker of Onel Jail Lane, St Ann's Bay. Reports from the St Ann's Bay police are that at 11 p.m., Francis allegedly stabbed the complainant--who is her co-worker--in the neck with a knife after she accused him of being involved with their boss. The co-worker was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in stable condition.
Francis was arrested and subsequently charged on the weekend. Her court date is being arranged.
