Gun found in St Mary home, man arrested

The police have arrested a man in St Mary for his alleged connection to a gun found in his home this morning.

The weapon is a nine millimetre pistol which was loaded with 23 nine millimetre rounds of ammunition.

The police report that a team went to the area to conduct a targeted operation in the community.

A house was search and the firearm was found.

The man was taken into custody.

Investigations continue.
