Taxi man charged with allegedly punching man in face, leaving him with bloody lip

Keith Davis, a taxi operator from Jones Avenue in Spanish Town, St Catherine has been charged for allegedly punching a man in the face leaving him with a bloody lip.

Davis, 40, was formally charged by the St Catherine North Criminal Investigation Branch on Wednesday with unlawful wounding.

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, an argument developed between Davis and a man at the Spanish Town bus terminus.

Davis then allegedly attacked the man.

A report was later made to the police and Davis was subsequently arrested.

He was formally charged for the offence on Wednesday, June 11.

His court date is being finalised.
