Omar Edwards, coach of Red Stripe Premier League outfit Tivoli Gardens, says his team's preparations for the upcoming season have been severely hampered by the unavailability of their home ground, the Edward Seaga Sports Complex.

Edwards told STAR Sports that renovation work at the complex has forced them to do their training at the nearby Tivoli Gardens High field.

"As result of this renovation work, we have had to divert to the Tivoli Gardens High field. Some work is taking place there as well, but, nonetheless, the school allows us to train on the football field," said Edwards.

He added: "The playing surface is not the best but at this time we can't do anything better."

Tivoli reached the quarter-finals of last season's competition where they were knocked out by Cavalier.
