Defending champions Clarendon College will face McGrath High School in one of two rescheduled ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup football matches at the St Elizabeth Technical High School Sports Complex this afternoon.

The last semi-finalist will be determined at the end of the day's play.

In the other game, 12-time champions Cornwall College will battle Manchester High at Green Pond High School in St James. Kick-off for both games is at 3 p.m.

Clarendon will go into their match with less pressure as they sit atop the group with six points. They are three points clear of Manchester High and Cornwall. However, they need to avoid defeat as they have an inferior (-1) goal difference to Cornwall, who could qualify with a win. Manchester could if they beat Cornwall by two goals and Clarendon lose.

Clarendon team manager Richard Palmer said the team has recovered well from a stomach bug last week, and is ready to go.

"It's a must-win situation and has to be treated that way," Palmer said. "We are going out there to win because that's what we need to go through,"

McGrath head coach Jermaine Thomas said if this is to be their final game of the season, they want to end well.

"We will definitely look to fix a few things that we have been doing wrong on the field," Thomas said. "We know it's going to be a tough task but we are looking to finish the season on a high. The boys have done well getting to the quarter-finals and I have to commend them for that."
