Jamaica's Reggae Girlz are trailing Canada 1-0 at halftime in their Concacaf Women's Championship semi-final match in Monterrey, Mexico on Thursday evening.

Jessie Flemming scored a close-range header in the 18th minute for the Canadians, who dominated the half.

Jamaica goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer was kept busy throughout the half, as she was forced into numerous saves by the Canadian attack.

Jamaica, who started the match with captain Khadija Shaw on the bench, had one shot on goal in the first half, as opposed to Canada's eight.

Jamaica, who qualified for their second consecutive FIFA Women's World Cup tournament on Monday, must win this match to secure their maiden Olympic Games appearance.
