Middlesex United Stars batsman Suwayne Wilson is currently the leading run scorer in the ongoing Dream XI sponsored Jamaica T10 competition, as the right-hander picked up yet another Man-of-the-Match award after they defeated Middlesex Titans by nine wickets at Kensington Park yesterday.

Wilson top-scored with 61 from 33 balls to lead the Stars to 82 for one in 7.3 overs, replying to 78 for seven posted by Titans.

St Ann native Wilson was in imperious form, as he hit five fours and four sixes while adding 69 runs for the opening wicket with captain Damani Sewell, who made 12.

Wilson has batted in seven innings and has so far scored 170 runs to lead the charts, and the opener is pleased that he is garnering attention with his performances.

"It is an awesome feeling to know that you have some big name players in the league, and to know that I am leading in the runs category is a great feeling," Wilson said.

Wilson's no-nonsense approach to batting has seen him hit 12 maximums in the competition, one less than leading six-hitter Leroy Lugg of Surrey Royals.

Wilson's effort helped United Stars pick up their third win of the campaign, placing them in third position in the standings with nine points.

"We aim to win the last three matches and see how high we can finish on the table," added Wilson.

In the meantime, leaders Surrey Kings kept their unbeaten streak intact following their nine-wicket win over Surrey Risers, their eighth straight victory.

Risers were restricted to 75 for eight, with captain Jeavor Royal once again being among the wickets when he bagged three wickets for 10 runs.

West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell picked up two wickets and returned with the bat to slam 41 from 16 balls in a Man-of-the-Match performance, which steered the Kings to victory at 76 for one in 5.4 overs.
