SUNDAY'S Reggae 6 is no walk in the park. Danger lurks in almost every race, making bankers a scarce commodity on what could be a rough day for form purists.

The opening event is a potential minefield, which should be carefully navigated. Recent upset winner, SOLO BLACK, must be carried on the strength of beating THE GENERAL three Saturdays ago. Never mind the reduction in journey, nine furlongs and 25 yards to seven furlongs. SOLO BLACK, who beat non-winners of two races, returns on a $500,000 claim tag, a much lower level, his connections possibly aiming to capitalise quickly on the four-year-old's fitness after appearing surprised at his 10-1 victory.

TURNONTHELIGHT was second-best behind LET HIM FLY at six and a half furlongs on Ash Wednesday, making the mare a strong contender for the Reggae 6 opener. Similarly, CASUAL PEACH was also second-best behind LET HIM FLY when last raced in January, making her inseparable from TURNONTHELIGHT.

ESUSE ME GOODBY, ZD EYE and MR LYNDHURST should continue their game of musical chairs in the second event. Punters should ensure none of the three catches them off-guard.

Form purists would automatically bank FRED THE MASTER in the third, considering he was a four-length winner ahead of stablemate GIRVANO on debut. However, GIRVANI flew 1:12.3 for six furlongs at exercise last Sunday morning with visor removed, the same morning FRED THE GREAT posted 1:14,0 for the trip.

A second set of musical-chair runners dominate the fourth in which EMPRESSINTHEBREEZE, LADY KATGHARA, SHEWHOHASNONAME and MEDAL AWARD must all be carried.

FEARLESS ATTACK also stands out as a possible banker, returning off a lay-up at five furlongs straight in the fifth. However, considering soundness appears to be an issue with FEARLESS ATTACK, include BUGATTI and RHOSA THE WARRIOR as back-up.

Either FINAL LOAD will again last home or PROPELLANT catches him this time around in a renewal of rivalry at seven furlongs in the sixth.
