I believe Trump liberated Venezuela
Dear Pastor,
On New Year's Day, I treated my street friends from Old Harbour, St Catherine. We had an exciting time, and it was heartening to see many of them talking and laughing -- something they seldom do. I give God thanks and all the glory for allowing me to share a meal with them.
President Donald Trump did a great job in liberating the oppressed people of Venezuela. Something must be wrong for more than seven million people to leave a country.
Jamaicans are great talkers, but most have very limited overseas travel experiences. I am yet to hear one person who is against the invasion of Venezuela. I have Venezuelan friends in Jamaica who are rejoicing, and I will ask one person to come on your show and on Simon's show, so that blinded Jamaicans can understand their pain.
Most of their oil is given to the Russians and Chinese at a low rate.
I am also convinced that the Gog and Magog war, prophesied in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 -- concerning an invasion of Israel -- will soon be fulfilled.
Pastor, I am sure there is a Venezuelan listening to your show.
P.H.
Dear P.H.,
I am glad that you were able financially to treat the street people in the Old Harbour area. They would always remember your kindness. I sense from your letter that you felt grateful to God that you were able to share a meal with the street people you call friends.
I can see that you are a big supporter of President Trump. You believe that he was correct in what he did. You call his action 'liberation'. Time would tell if the Venezuelans were indeed liberated.
I hope you bear in mind that not everybody consider that what Trump did was right. Personally I have never stopped anybody from either supporting Trump or disagreeing with him on the Dear Pastor show.
Many people also disagree that Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 refer to a future war involving Israel. I am very careful when speaking about prophecy, as it is not easy to interpret. One of the reasons we have so many denominations today is that prophecy is often misunderstood or interpreted differently.
Thanks for sharing your views, and I wish you well. Do write me again.
Pastor
