Body found on St Ann roadway

Detectives assigned to the St Ann Police Division are probing the circumstance surrounding the death of a female, whose body was found on the roadway in Phase 2, Runaway Bay, in the parish this morning.

Reports from the Runaway Bay Police are that about 6:45 a.m., passers-by stumbled upon the body and alerted them.

The body was seen lying in the nude on its side with multiple stab wounds.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

The police are asking anyone with information who can assist them in identifying the body to contact the Runaway Bay Police at 876-973-7057, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
