Waterhouse, Tivoli JPL quarter-final ends 1-1

April 22, 2024

It was an exciting 1-1 draw between Waterhouse and Tivoli Gardens at Sabina Park in today's first leg of the Wray and Nephew-sponsored Jamaica Premier League quarter-finals.

Waterhouse main man this season Javane Bryan and Tivoli Garden's Lennox Russell were the names on the night's scoresheet.

Waterhouse took the lead on the night when Bryan bagged his 15th goal of the season just before halftime from the penalty spot.

Tivoli came out in the second half with attacking intent, and after exerting continuous pressure throughout the game, the west Kingston-based Tivoli found the equaliser when Russell reacted first to finish into an empty net, after a mix-up in the Waterhouse box.

The second leg will be played on April 29 at Sabina Park, where the tie's winner will play defending champions Mount Pleasant in the semi-finals.
