Unidentified body found in Spanish Town

The Spanish Town police in St Catherine are trying to ascertain the identity of a man who was fatally shot yesterday.

Reports are that about 3:30 p.m., the police were summoned to Gulf Heights, Gordon Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine.

On their arrival the body of the man was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the head.

The body, which was about 5 feet 11 inches, was clad in a red and white merino and grey shorts.

The Spanish Town Criminal Investigations Branch is conducting a probe in the matter.
