J Capri funeral on Monday

The funeral for dancehall artiste J Capri has been set for Monday at 10 a.m. at the UWI Chapel, Mona, St Andrew.

A post on the artiste's Instagram page says a memorial (nine-night) will be held on Saturday at The Little Copa Club at 8 Miles in Bull Bay, St Andrew.

THE STAR gathered that selectors such as ZJ Smurf, ZJ Liquid ad Boom Boom have been confirmed for the event, along with Rising dancehall artiste Jahmiel, who will

perform.

Last Friday, J Capri, 23, real name Jordan Phillips, succumbed to injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident on November 23. J Capri is known for songs such as Wine and Kotch with Charly Blacks, Pull Up To Mi Bumpa with Konshens and more recently, Boom and Ben Over.
