Day Break party delivered
On Saturday morning, Sabina Park played host to the highly anticipated Day Break Breakfast Party.
The well-attended event saw patrons dancing up a storm as early as 5:30 a.m. through to the afternoon to a heavy diet of a variety of music, especially from the dancehall, soca, and hip hop genres.
The Absolut bar attendants were kept busy all morning as they served up premium bottles of liqueurs and other intoxicating drink mixes.
As the rays of the morning sun got hotter, some patrons sought refuge in the stands of the venue that are usually used for cricket matches.
However, within minutes of 'cooling off', they were back to dancing up a storm or mingling with their peers.
THE STAR caught up with Jywaza Hall, a member of the Day Break promotion team who said that the event once again lived up to their expectations.
"We always aim to exceed our patrons' expectations, and now, all I am seeing are smiles and just happy people. It's obvious the massive is stunned by the executions, and that is what matters to us most of all," Hall said.
The next staging is scheduled for the first quarter of next year in time for the Jamaica soca season.
