Easter weekend is on the horizon, and if you crave a different kind of entertainment, preparations are in high gear for Secret Getaway, Montego Bay’s premier Easter weekend escape.

For a second year, Secret Getaway is promising to be an unforgettable experience for hardcore partygoers. The itinerary is jam-packed, as seven events will be held over the course of four days.

Speaking with WESTERN STAR, event promoter Tango said: “Patrons can expect great food and great people from different walks of life, and a beautiful future for Secret Getaway Jamaica with entertainment by local and international entertainers.”

The Secret Getaway festivities will kick off on Good Friday, April 19, with a Lingerie Pool Party in the day, followed by a club-like night party, dubbed ‘It’s a Secret’. Day two, Saturday, April 20, will be in a different lane at Tropical Bliss Beach, as the Uptop Boss Teejay is expected to perform at ‘Milk: the Secret Ultra All-White Party’, while fast-rising female dancehall deejay Shenseea will hit the stage in the night at the ‘Bare as You Dare’.

With breakfast parties now a staple for most event promoters, Secret Getaway will not be left behind, as Easter Sunday, April 21, early ravers can start their morning right with ‘Secret on the Sea’, a breakfast boat ride that will sail from Pier One. Later in the day, patrons will hit the red carpet at ‘Fashion and Class Mansion’ that will be held at the Rose Hall Great House.

Secret Getaway will come to a climax on Easter Monday, April 22, with a ‘Big Bad Cooler Fête’ at Pier One, which will see a performance from Montego Bay’s very own Ryging King, as well as comedians Majah Hype and Noah Powa.
