Philadelphia-based recording artiste Rasta British is upbeat about his latest single, ‘Style Them Fresh’.

“This song is for all the partygoers and anyone who likes the flossing lifestyle. It is for those persons who are about making an honest living. There is nothing more impressive than a person who has major confidence in his/herself, and this is what this song is about,” he said.

Produced by Versi Don Records, the entertainer said that the track has been resonating with its listeners, and he hoping that the song will give him a major musical breakthrough.

“My songs are doing well here in Philadelphia and other sections of the US, but I want to get a break in the land of my birth. I know that the dancehall arena is wide, so that is why I take the time out to put a lot of energy into each of my tracks. Like every other song that I released, I am hoping that this one will break musical barriers and even enter the Billboard charts. I really have high hopes for it, and I think this one is the one, based on the feedback that I am getting from the listeners,” he said.

Rasta British, whose real name is Clive Somers, was born in Trelawny, but migrated to the US when he was 12 years old. His interest in music was sparked during his teens, and he was a member of a high-school group called Mad Squad.

His other tracks include Run In Pon Who, Life Change, Top Of Things, Run Out and Party, featuring Blinx.
