Christopher Simpson, who goes by the moniker Christopher Lee, said his latest song, ' Man a Warrior', indicates clearly that he can still deliver musically.

"I am not new to the music industry. I started out in the early '90s on sound systems and even performed on 'Fully Loaded' in 1990, and that cemented me on tours throughout the United States and the Caribbean," Christopher Lee said.

He declared that in 1992, he recorded Mama Feel Weak on the Blacks Dread label, and Ghetto Girl, a collaboration with Christined, and Typical on the Terrific Music label.

"The songs work for me in terms of exposure towards the industry; they have helped to prepare me for the upheaval of the music, and that is why I am still around doing my thing," Christopher Lee said. "I have received my earlier inspiration from Reggie Steppa and Lieutenant Stitchie. Both are great lyricists, so I was given the task to be a part of the music."

The 47-year-old said that having being born in Barbican, he was neighbour to Reggie Steppa and would hang out with him.

Despite all the good intentions about the music, Simpson went abroad (USA) where he continued to work, but decided to operate a business.

"The new song, Man a Warrior, came out of a conversation I was having with a friend. The lyrics just started to flow. I placed it on social media and it just blow up. The rest is history," he said.

With the endorsement of various online shows, a video was shot and is in rotation.
