Dancehall artiste Singa Ding says he is pleased with the reception of his latest single, Bless.

He said that the track is dedicated to the Almighty, and that the lyrics came about as he was reflecting on the struggles and pain he and others have faced.

"Then mi mind run on mi family and friends dem weh pass on, and da day deh mi eyes just full up a tears. Right deh so the lyrics to Bless just come. Life hard bad when it ready, but we have a whole heap to give God thanks for," he said.

Singa Ding said that he is hiking up promotion in Jamaica for the song to become a national anthem.

"This song is on a lot of gospel playlists and mi glad fi dat. Inna dem time here we need music like these that black man and woman need to hear. Mi wah di youth dem inna di ghetto who a hustle pon di dump, and those who a sell dem little scrap metal and any other little hustle, to know say dem blessed despite dem circumstances, and life soon better. Memba, when di praises go up, blessings gonna come down," Singa Ding said.

Bless was produced by Dremuzik and Island Fire and officially released in October.
