Jo Mersa’s birthday bash heads to Bob Marley Museum

The annual Jo Mersa Marley birthday celebration returns for its third staging, bringing an electrifying line-up of reggae and dancehall greats to a brand new venue deeply rooted in Marley history.

This year's tribute concert will be held at the iconic Bob Marley Museum on Saturday, March 8, starting at 7 p.m. -- placing the celebration in the heart of Kingston's musical legacy.

The organisers said the event promises an unforgettable night of music, unity, and tribute, honouring the life and impact of Joseph 'Jo Mersa' Marley, who passed away in December 2022 at the age of 31.

Headlining the tribute concert are the Marley brothers -- Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian -- who will take the stage to honour Jo Mersa's legacy. Joining them is the next generation of Marley talent, including Skip Marley, Yohan Marley, Hymn Marley, Mystic Marley, and Shacia Payne.

The organisers said that a star-studded line-up of additional artistes will be announced soon.
