Entertainment company seeking models

April 28, 2016

So you think you've got what it takes to strut your stuff down the catwalk? Well, the Research Marketing and Promotions (RMP) Entertainment company is on the lookout for the next new face that is sure to turn heads.

THE STAR, in its Jobs & Careers feature, is yet again bridging the gap between employers and potential employees. After searching The Gleaner classifieds for job postings this week, our news team connected with Egeton Newman, senior director of RMP Entertainment.

"We promote various products for the transport sector," he explained. "Apart from that, we want the girls to engage in fashion because we have an entertainment company. They will be modelling various wares of the various local designers."

The classified advertisement posted by the entity called for "young ladies interested in modelling to fulfil your dreams", affording them the opportunity to come experience life on the catwalk.

"Our focus right now is on local fashion shows as well as promoting road safety across the island," Newman added.

The proprietor said his requirement for his potential recruits is pretty simple: be "tall" and "slim" with a fair bit of knowledge in particular areas.

"They have to have a particular look and a particular weight and a particular size. They must be either a petite model, or anything 5' 7" upwards. They should be under 120 pounds as well," Newman said. "They should have some knowledge in tourism, and have knowledge about road safety."

Interested persons between the ages of 18-26 may call (876) 930-5146, (876) 391-7141, (867) 276-4998 for further information. Ladies interested must be from the parishes of Clarendon, Kingston, Manchester and St Andrew.
