The 11th staging of the Portmore All-Breed Dog Show and Family Fun Day is set to take place at the Caymanas Park infield on December 6.

The event was launched at Caymanas Park on Tuesday, and it was revealed that this year will have five judges coming from the United States.

"We have new breeds of dogs that will be on show, we are using the show to teach patrons that any dog can be friendly if trained," Morris Goode the promoter said.

Meanwhile, new sponsors such as Nicie's and Honey Bun are behind the staging of the event.

"We at Nicie's having heard that it was a family show, we were more than willing to participate. We are indeed committed," Winston Clarke, sales representative said.

Patrons will see the usual obedience exercise and fashion show by the dogs.

Meanwhile, there will be free bounce-a-bout and a play area for children under 12 years old. The entry fee will be $500 and gates will open at 10 a.m. The event will end with a musical showcase.
