Man arrested for ganja at airport

A man who was caught with more than 20 pounds of ganja was remanded when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.
Tremaine Jackson, of a Kingston 8 address, pleaded not guilty to possession of ganja and taking steps to export ganja.
The accused was arrested on December 4 when the car that he parked at the Norman Manley Airport was searched and parcels with vegetable matter resembling ganja was found in his suitcase.
Jackson was arrested and charged by the police. The accused returns to court on March 3.
