Man on assault charge gets bail extension

A man accused of assaulting another had his bail extended when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Thursday.
Charged with assault occasioning bodily harm is Sean Barrett.
The Crown alleged that Barrett, along with three other men attacked and beat the male complainant, resulting in injuries. It remains unclear what caused the alleged incident.
The court heard that a medical report for the complaint had was outstanding.
As a result, the accused man had his bail extended by Resident Magistrate (RM) Simone Maddis. He is to return to court on March 15 when the outstanding medical report is expected to be furnished.
A fingerprint order was also made against him.
