April 29, 2016

Up to late last night, the father of the three-year-old St James child who turned himself in to police Wednesday, only to flee from custody yesterday, has still not been found.

Roosevelt 'Timmy' Thomas turned himself over to the Freeport police and was subsequently interrogated in relation to the murder of his three-year-old daughter, Lashaunie Thomas, whose body was found at Dump Up Beach on Tuesday. Yesterday he mysteriously ran from the station where he was being held. Several police officers gave chase however Thomas managed to elude them.

Last night the police said they were still searching for the father.

Lashaunie body was found after Thomas reportedly called the child's mother the previous night and told her that he was going to kill the child.

Following an appeal to surrender, Thomas reported to the Freeport police in the company of a pastor.
