Jamaican man to be deported for passport fraud

A Jamaican national was sentenced to nine months in prison for passport fraud when he appeared before a US District Judge last Monday.
He is 42-year-old Mark Anthony Gouldbourne of Hartford, Connecticut, in the United States.
According to reports, Gould-bourne, who is a native and citizen of Jamaica, submitted an application for a US passport in the name of his brother, who is a citizen, in March of 2011.
THE STAR understands that in May 2015, US authorities found him at Hartford Correctional Centre, where he was already an inmate.
The accused man is expected to be deported following a federal sentence.
