Praises for Shericka Jackson!

Jamaica copped another Olympic medal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last night when Shericka Jackson finished third in the Women's 400 metres finals with a time of 49.85.

Jackson, running out of lane five, finished behind Bahamas' Shaunae Miller, who won the race, and America's Allyson Felix.

Jamaica's Stephenie-Ann McPherson, who ran in lane eight, finished sixth.

Persons on social media did not run short of congratulatory words for the girls, whom they said did the country proud.
