11-y-o chops boy to death

An 11-year old boy, who used a machete to chop the neck of a 14-year-old boy - killing him - was taken into custody by the Wait-A-Bit police late yesterday evening.

Reports from the Corporate Communication Unit of The Jamaica Constabulary Force are that the boys, both of a Low River address in the popular Trelawny district, had a dispute when the 11-year-old went for a machete and chopped the older boy around 4 p.m. yesterday.

He reportedly died on the spot.
