Cash reward being offered for missing dog
It has been more than a week since Andrea Hoo Fung's shih-tzu named Dora went missing, and the dog owner has not rested well since.
Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR, the woman said she strongly believes that Dora was abducted after she wandered out of her Meadowbrook Estate home on September 18.
"She always went for walks, but she usually returns home. She didn't run off because the person who took her admitted to taking her but he claims that she escaped from him a day later when he took her for a walk in Patrick City," she said.
Hoo Fung said she believes that the man sold her dog because when she first asked him, he admitted to seeing Dora but said the dog was not in his possession.
"The following day, his father admitted that he had seen his son with Dora and told him to leave her alone. I reported the matter to the police, but he gave them the same story," she said.
She stated that she feels empty without her dog, which she has had since its birth 11 years ago. She stated that Dora, is "youthful for her age" and not very streetwise.
She emphasised that she shares a strong connection with the animal because she also raised its parents until their passing years ago.
"Dora is very attached to me and will not be very comfortable with anyone else. She will not adapt to anyone else, so I know she is unhappy. She cannot have pups, but those who have her will not know that because she looks really young. I told the guy that I do not believe him and I need my dog, so whomever he sold her to, he needs to get her back. Based on what I have heard, this is not the first time this guy would be doing something like this," she said.
Hoo Fung said she is offering a cash reward for the safe return of Dora.
