Three weeks after the Super Lotto winner collected his money, Gregory Malcolm said people started targeting him as they believe that he is the winner.

Malcolm, who started music about a year ago, goes by the stage name 'Horror General' and who wears a costume similar to that worn by the winner when the symbolic cheque was collected.

Malcolm told THE STAR that people started calling him and asking him if he won the money because the costumes looked the same.

He said that he did not take people seriously at first, but after hearing numerous persons saying the same thing, he believes that a public statement is needed.

"People keep on a call me and a seh dem hear seh a mi a the winner because the same costume the person wear go collect the money mi have, and a true because mi always a wear mask because that is how I present myself on the stage as an artiste. But mi nuh win no money," he said.

He said he is not only getting calls but his car was also stolen last week while he was at Hellshire Beach in Portmore, St Catherine.

CAR MISSING

"Mi go Hellshire early inna the morning and where the car was it nuh suppose to easy to take it. Mi believe seh the car go missing between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. because mi did deh deh for a while and when mi ask what happened, nobody nuh see nothing," he said.

He said that the matter was reported to the police and he is asking persons to stop targeting him and stop calling him because he did not win anything.

"Mi have a car weh mi a drive now but a nuh mine, so mi nuh know if a that dem see mi inna and think seh a mine. Mi just a tell people seh there is no need to look in my direction like that because mi nuh win nothing," he said.

After a 54-day wait, a Super Lotto winner identified as A Campbell came forward in a mask to collect his J$158.4 million prize.
