The family of 15-year-old Kevin Kerr is panicking after the youngster failed to return home from school on Tuesday.

His mother, Krystal Gray, explained that her son was last seen when he left his home in Golden Grove, Hanover, to attend school.

It is understood that Kerr would normally get home by 5 p.m. if he didn't have football practice. But when he didn't return home that evening, the family began to search for him and call his friends, but to no avail.

Gray explained that her son had been acting out for the past couple of days, but the family did not expect him to vanish. The mother of two said that she is begging her son to come home so they can mend fences.

"We have not been good since he left. Everyone is scared of where he is and if he is OK. His sister is very sad. She don't talk, but you can see that she misses her brother very much," she said.

Kerr's pregnant aunt, Kimblyn Gray, said that she thinks he disappeared because he was scolded.

"I think that he left because he did something wrong and his mother took his phone last week. He has been acting out for some time, and we try and talk to him, and he is saying that nothing is wrong," she said.

"When I was talking with him, I told him that if he needed anything, he should come and ask me because I don't want him to end up in the wrong company. We just want him home. I am begging him to come home," she added.

She also told THE WEEKEND STAR that Kerr's grandmother is not taking his disappearance well.

"I don't know what to say to my sister (his mother) right now. His grandmother have a heart problem, and so we have to be watching her all the time because she is constantly crying," she said.
