Man bitten by crocodile set for surgery

September 25, 2019

Oral Lee, the man who was viciously attacked by a crocodile roughly two weeks ago, while spear fishing in the Rio Minho in Clarendon, is set to do surgery today.

He has been in the hospital since the incident took place and is set to repair the broken jaw that he suffered as his head was caught in the reptile's mouth.

He told THE CENTRAL STAR that he is not sure what time is his surgery, but the hospital started the preparation process from yesterday.

"Things have been good so far. I am at KPH. I don't know what time I am going in for surgery but so far they have put on the drip on me and thing. They said that tomorrow (today) they are going to cut it from the head and stitch it up properly," he said.

Last week, Lee told THE CENTRAL STAR that he was unable to see out of his right eye and was only able to see shadows out of the left.

He is now able to see completely out of the right eye but the left is still blurred.

"Mi can't see out of the right eye because it get damage bad man, but I am hoping that everything will be okay soon," he said.
