STETH take ISSA/TVJ T20 crown

Propelled by an all-round performance by Tyriek Bryan and Man of the Match Odane Binns, St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) easily defeated Tacky High by eight wickets to win the ISSA/TVJ Twenty20 schoolboy title at Sir P Oval today.

STETHS, who won the toss and opted to field, chased Tacky's 153 for nine from 20 overs by compiling 157 for two in 18.1 overs with Bryan taking five for 23 in Tacky's innings then returning to stroke 30 and with the assistance of 71 not out by Binns, carried the Santa Cruz-based STETHS to victory.

Earlier at the same venue, Manchester High defeated Clarendon College to finish the competition in third position.
