Another decomposed body found in Clarendon

Another decomposed body has been found in Clarendon. This is the second body found in the parish in the same number of weeks. According to reports from the Corporate Communications Unit, the body, believed to be that of a female, was discovered around 3:15 p.m on Monday on Sevens Road in the May Pen area.

Information reaching THE CENTRAL STAR is that a student-athlete was on his school compound when he stumbled on the body lying in shrubs. An alarm was raised and the police summoned.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue pending post- mortem examination.

The May Pen Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) has since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the unidentified female.

Dreadlocks

The body is described as one of dark complexion, medium build, is about 163 centimetres long (5 feet 4 inches), and sports a dreadlocked hairstyle. The woman is believed to be in her early 20s.

Two weeks ago, the body of 18-year-old Shaida McKenzie was found along the Dawkins Pen main road.

McKenzie, the mother of a six-week-old baby, was reported missing on Tuesday, November 12, after she mysteriously disappeared.

Her body was found two days later.

Lawmen are appealing to anyone with information that can assist in their investigation to contact the May Pen CIB at 876-986-2529, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
